About Bore Oil

Bore Oil is simply oil meant to lubricate and protect the metal on your gun or in the barrel from corrosion. There are many different varieties for sale, most of them created equal - don't dwell on your choice unless you've had problems with the kind you're already using. Usually Bore Oil is used on the patch which is the last through the barrel of the gun during a given cleaning session, giving it a nice light coating to prevent rust.
